What we publish

KickVerse publishes practical football guides alongside matchday information. Each guide is built around a specific reader question and should leave that question answered. We do not invent match events, quotations, transfer claims, statistics or source material when verified information is unavailable.

Research and primary sources

Rules and competition-format guides begin with material from the relevant governing body or organiser. Depending on the subject, that can include the IFAB Laws of the Game, UEFA regulations or Premier League publications. Each guide identifies its principal sources so readers can inspect the underlying material.

Secondary reporting may add context, but it does not replace an available official source for a law, regulation or formal competition procedure. External news links remain the work of their named publishers.

Writing and review

KickVerse Editorial is the organisational byline used for guides prepared and reviewed for this website. Before publication, a guide is checked for a direct answer, internal consistency, reliable source support and potentially misleading generalisations. A page date changes only after a material review or revision.

We favour plain language and useful examples. Word count is not a publishing target: a guide should be long enough to solve the reader's question without padding or repeated conclusions.

Automation and editorial responsibility

Software helps KickVerse organise supported fixtures, scores and external feeds. Automated output is not treated as an independent authority for football laws or competition rules. Original explanatory pages remain subject to source checks and editorial review, and KickVerse remains responsible for what it publishes.
